We plan to hold another baptismal service as part of the morning service on the 11th.

October 2011 - Baptismal Service

We were delighted to hold another baptismal service. On Sunday the 23rd, Rose Hiles was baptised.

September 2011 - New Hymn Book

For a while now, we've looking into how best to present the words we sing in our worship. Many churches project them on big screens, which we have done and will continue to do. A number of us feel though that using a hymn book has significant merits. For example, being able to scan the words beforehand to see where the hymn is 'going'; or to go over the words reflectively afterwards.

For these reasons and others, the church has decided on the new edition of Christian Hymns. We're looking forward to singing some good traditional hymns and also some more recent works. Inevitably, we'll still use a projector when we want something that isn't in there!
